The momma Bay addiction was set up in 1629 by William Bradford and Edward Winslow. The first reason that those two men favor to settle in the Massachusetts area was because it was in a ripe(p) area for trading purposes. Another reason the Puritans settled in the Mass achusetts Bay area was because of the location, there was an excess of timber, and because of the fender conditions for farming and planting. Also, one of the cities in Massachusetts was called Boston. Boston was be intimate as the “City Upon a Hill” There were many natural resources used in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

In the Colony there was something know as “the New England jostle room”, which was the way the colony related to the church, civil ascendancy , and the full general ways of life.
